Radeon VII is within 10-15fps and sometimes closer in most of these and is just over half the cost of the 2080ti. The cost/performance ratio for 2080ti is abysmal.

again, its a TI, double the price, 20percent performance advatage. oh, and look at the CPU usage and GPU power draw, contrary to what people saying. AMD good job!

I've had the opportunity to test all the Nvidia cards: gtx 1080, 1080ti, I started using the Rtx 2070 the latest Vega 56. I've got the Vega 64 bios. I've noticed that game fluency is better. My next card is Vega VII.

The Radeon 7 is not so bad as we think before. Or 2080ti is so bad and laggy that the difference between two cards 10-15% maximum. I have 1080ti and a new Radeon 7 is obliviously better.

Did you guys notice 2080ti never throttles even at 70+ degrees, but VII starts to throttle once it is 60C. It wouldn't probably totally close the difference, but VII could use some tweaking.

R7 is much better value but I'm honestly scared to buy another AMD card as I've always had problems with AMD drivers that make some games unplayable. Nvidia cards are pretty flaky on the hardware side, but at least I haven't had any issues playing games on them. I usually only get about 3 years out of Nvidia cards before their ports stop working or artifacts and blue screens kick in. I wish there was an alternative lol.

The 2080ti is a tank, but I'm honestly very impressed with the R7 at these #'s.

Nice video! Why 2080Ti seems to consume close to 330W in some games though? Seems higher than in reviews. I don't refuse the results at all, but I just wonder why. And R7 is a very potent GPU and in some games reach the Ti level, especially in minFPS which is important.

idk but since you have regular monitor, 60fps is enough so it does not matter if your fps is 125 or 145,
radeon VII perform rlly well for its price, also it need few drivers updates and it will be even better :)
also keep on mind, its just first generation.

Rather impressive showcase. The RVII does really well despite being an older arch with a few cus cut out.

I don't think the 2080ti's price is that justified if a compute card with 4 expensive hbm 2 stacks costs $500 less and preforms like that.
