I would change two things in the capsule, then it will be perfect for me. I would replace the Jean skirt with a pair of a line linen shorts in tan or black. It is far more comfortable than the Jean skirt and goes with everything else. I would also replace the black jumpsuit with a flowy midi or maxi skirt with floral or small prints in red or blue. It will go with all the solid color tops and all shoes. Black top and black trouser can create a similar look with the jumpsuit, the jumpsuit doesn’t bring in any new elements to the capsule. Just my personal preference for more variety.

Love your capsule/travel videos, Erin! As an older viewer, I would substitute a pair of black linen blend Bermuda shorts for the denim skirt. I would substitute a black or white linen blend blazer or light sweater for the Farm Rio dress. The black jumpsuit is great, but I would either chose a more covered up version or wear the white eyelet shirt over your version. Don’t forget your hat!

Great video! Packing for a trip has always been a challenge for me. I would love to see a video on how everything fits in the suitcase along with other things not mentioned such as skincare, makeup, nightwear, under garments, sweater/jacket/robe, etc. It would be great to see the suitcase pieces you bring to accommodate everything you need and how it all looks ready to go.

Light pajamas, light jacket with hood ( maybe light down) in case it suddenly gets cold or rains which happens in tropical places. Swimsuits, shorts and tanks for water activities. Rubbery sandals/shoes for activities around water and in case you have dirty shower floor. I've found leather Reef sandals (in a neutral tan color) for active wear more comfortable than fashionable flats for walking around. They give you an arch on the inside which is good for flat footers like me.
I bought a few sleeveless, maxi dresses when they were on sale from Nordstrom, solid colors, black for travel, deep V in front and a little ruching in front and back. Can wear that during day or night, at night wear a light cardigan over it, or a leather jacket if you're back home. And as someone mentioned, my hat would be a cap.

I went to Sam's Club today and found almost all the similar pieces to create my own capsule!! Even found a pair of nude Dolce Vita braided sandals 🥰🥰 I got linen olive green shorts, dressy navy shorts, wide leg gray pants, seer sucker white button up, basic tank, sun dress and 2 shoes.
