Glad you didn’t mention the VW ID.4! We have a 2023 model which has now done 22000km and we love it!

For several years it feels like the only safe bet is cars from Japan. Toyota, Honda, and Subaru. I have a 2012 RAV4 4wd and the thing never has issues. Every Toy I have owned is amazing!

On my 3rd EV, starting with a 2013 Focus EV traded on a 2020 Bolt EV, both to small! Never paid over $30K now by ignoring the crazies I have a 2024 Blazer RS AWD that is awesome! At least 300 miles range as tested by experts on youtube, huge inside and smooth ride! Love this car! Only financed $30K with the Bolt trade in!

Sad that Stellantis is always so low on the reliability list. They look great.

These are basically I.Q. tests for the American car buyers. So, now we can understand how they stay in business.

Many automakers have their priorities backwards, they're concerned more about profit than quality, right BMW?

Notice how there aren’t any Japanese automakers on this list? (I’m actually surprised that the Nissan Leaf isn’t on here).

Quite accurate. Love how he nails all the bad options while leaving the good ones alone.

I don't see how Stellantis stays in business anymore. I guess Jeep keeps them afloat but, the prices of Jeeps today have bogged down their sales also.

I'm surprised that no one gets what the XM is all about.
Let me help you guys with that:
It basically tells everyone on the road to get out of the way and open up the lane for the wealthy owners of this vehicle.

There, you are all welcome.

He's mostly right when you look at these vehicle for purchase at MSRP however, some of this comes down to value for money. The Mercedes EVs are actually quite nice and some have good specs, they just aren't worth the full price for what you are getting especially when you look at depreciation. There are also some good lease deals out there where you can have an EV from anywhere like 18 months to 3 years. The Blazer would have been a bad purchase when it came out, but now after the stop sale and the lower price it might be okay. If it turns out that they fixed the problems, it could be a very nice car. Seems like most people came here to have their preconceptions validated, that's fine, I do that sometimes as well, but I think a lot of these vehicles are worth a look at a certain price. The loss in resale value of EVs seems to primarily be seen as a negative, but the silver lining goes to those who are willing to buy one that is a year or two old.
