I am not a novel reader and haven't watched GoT. I came here because sanderson said he is the right one to collaborate and write elden ring story not george. After watching this now its clear fromsoftware picked the perfect writer. Right after hearing you said george writes grim and dark fantasy with so many unexplainable mystery, because thats what dark souls is !

In your opinion, would Sanderson be able to complete ASOIAF saga if Martin dies? How would that change of authors impact the story?

If you asked me if George had written more than ASOIAF, I would have said no lol. I havent read them yet, but I assumed people would be talking about some of his other stuff by now. But Ive never head anyone mention another book haha
Obviously based on that my preference is for BrandoSando. But his books are just more appealing to me in most of the ways you explained!

I started reading the song of ice and fire series a few months before the tv show aired I love the book series and only started on Sanderson books just last year right now I'm of reading the stormlight archives

Sometime, I will try to read George RR. I started watching the Game of Thrones series, but it was kinda boring(I was on episode 1). But I think that books are way better, I am not gonna judge the book by a TV Show. I hate comparing adaptation to a book. XD

They are both extremely overrated and mediocre authors, overly drawn out meandering writing style, unnecessary repetition.. boring!
