With it's updated camera, you'll be able to make the most of the #EchoShow8 and its video group call feature. Plus, the New Echo Show 8 can play your music without pressing a button including on groups of echo speakers. You can access your audio books and podcasts, and even have it read your eBooks out loud to you. You can watch movies, tv, and YouTube or browse the internet on the Echo Show 8's built in Silk Browser.

You can sync your calendar and email to have your important events available at a glance and with notes you can have Alexa quickly jot down important thoughts. There are a ton of productivity features on the #AmazonEchoShow82ndGeneration smart display with #Alexa on board, and we'll make sure you can use them all.

The Echo Show 8 2nd gen allows you to send announcements to other devices in different rooms of your home, and with the drop-in feature you can check on any of the rooms you have an Echo Show.

Helpful video. We would be purchasing this for a senior who has a basic cell phone, not a smartphone. Much of the set up in this video was done on a phone in the app. While we would do the initial set up, can she make notes, adjust settings, etc. on the Show device?

Did you notice the lack of Zoom on the Echo Show 8 gen 2? It was also delayed on the initial release of Echo Show 10 gen 3

Do you have to download the app in order to add the contacts to do the drop in video calls? And if you have to do it through the app, will the contacts stay there if you delete the app from your phone, because I’m going to have somebody else in another country do this for my mother

How did you get your Home Screen to have pictures? My screen just goes black even after I’ve gone into the clock & photo display and chose the nature setting… and after it goes to sleep still not picture just the time and black screen. Is there a way to add wallpapers? Please help I’m so lost 😬 not tech savvy and received this as a gift

My echo show 8, 1st generation has stopped playing screen savers. I’ve reset it quite a few times and it plays them for a short time, and then goes back to the blue screen. Can you give advice on how to fix this please?

My daughter just got me a show although ive got an echo dot which does everything i need. I just cant see why Id use a screen stuck in my kitchen when i can walk around using my phone or ipad. I upset my daughter but its useless and Sorry i just dont get it!

Hi, my device is stuck on "Device updates available " when i hit the download and install button it goes back to the 1st stage of setting up. Thr process is not advancing to the next stage. Pls help
