I have the black and blue ones of this Metal model. This is the best writing pencil I have. I prefer this over my Rotrings I have for writing. It draws well too. For some it may not bring the level of joy it gives me, but I am convinced of it and that’s saying a lot considering it went up against Rotring 800s. In my opinion, this is the best writing mechanical pencil on the market today!❤

This penci is beautiful, I really like it. I have a few normal Kuru Toga (the YELL edition, also from Amazon JP - not sure if that's limited or just regional), and a 0.3 Advance. I'd really like to try this one, as it looks interesting and I like a metal body in general.

Early in my career I punched a hole in the pocket of my favorite shirt with a drafting pencil. Retractable pipe is a must. Shaker pencils with a double knock are my current choice.

From the looks of the interior, it seems like the sleeves are interchangeable with other KS models.
Since the current Kuru Toga Metal lineup doesn't have it, I'm thinking that you could probably modify one to accept 0.3 by taking the sleeve from a standard 0.3 KS and putting it on the Metal

By nib damper they meant that the normal movement in the nib u have come to expect from a kuro toga is much lower in the KS variants. It moves around less.

I got the Pipe slide wich have the W speed engine. This KS seems more adept for my angled style of drawing ans writing😅. Still I'm excited for my kura toga!

A sliding pipe / sleeve should be standard in mechanical pencils as it instantly kills their portability without it. Put in your pocket? Get stabbed in the leg. Drop it? Bend the sleeve and the pencil is ruined.

Silly question: why don’t they always provide a cap to this kind of pen? I always worry that the tip of the pen could be bent when I throw my notebook and pen into my bag

Can you kindly review sun-star nocfree and Muji abs Plastic pencil. I want to know how much of lead can be usable with nocfree and Muji abs Plastic pencil claims to use upto 1mm remaining of lead which is amazing. Sadly no new pencil are trying to solve this issue till now, although there were a few older models some of those went out of production while Pentel also have one model currently available in Amazon US Pentel store

Is it grippier than orenz metal grip or orenz nero?

I am planning to buy one for my university years. Does Gray look good in real life? I see some pictures show slight greenish while other shows very white.
