Rite in the Rain products are badass. Take this from an Army guy who actually needed to take notes in the field and such, they are AMAZING products that work in all conditions and are very hardy.

In the civilian field, I can’t really see the necessity for it, but if you’re doing stuff where pencils can break often or easily - maybe even doing stuff in inclement weather - their product lines are top notch.

1.3mm a nice mid size! I have this one & a few Staedtler in that size.

Still though .9 graphgear 1000 (swapped into the .5s red/black body) is my goto! No sharpener needed w/ a retractable tip 😃
