Why do so many people associate school education with intelligence? It's literally the opposite. Someone makes curriculums and getting a good grade is just agreeing with the curriculum. If anything, it's a quarantine of the mind rather than an expansion.

Omg I thought I was the only one! See for me, my dad used to work for IBM and I remember seeing my cool dad one day notice that I loved rugrats and he made a cool website that he put pictures of them into website and music, and I thought it was so cool seeing games that people make like wolfeinstein 3d or doom, Duke nukem and I want to learn everything about computers, you have unlimited powers I thought. So I learn to code html by typing and saving the notes as a html file and it magically came up on the web browser. So cool. Miss the old days. 😢
