I’m a third year student and I had spent most of my second year in learning and practising stuff related to security and with whatever i had learnt I’ve helped my collage in securing its students Data, but now as I’m applying for internships and there are companies visiting campus too, what I’ve understood is that companies see this field as something that needs a lot of investment but has 0 returns (security teams never generate revenue for the company) so they are a bit reluctant to hire freshers or interns
