Should Christians watch movies and tv shows? Why is this important? We are temple's of the living God and as the church I want to call us higher. I'm not trying to control your life I'm simply sharing scriptures and experiences that have helped me walk in deeper intimacy with the Lord.

Once we encounter Jesus, the things of this world (even shows or movies) do not satisfy us and we find ourselves spending more time with the Lord instead of watching hours of shows and movies. 💯

Agree 100% Ross! We are to keep our eyes on things above not on the things of this world. I have had a conviction the last couple years, like Pastor Dave says I'm not going to use God's money to watch a movie where they're taking His name in vain and committing the very sins that Jesus died for! We are to be in the world but not of the world! That some people in the church do watch these movies excetera, it would be legalism for me to say they are not saved and I will not say that! As for me and my house we will serve the Lord!

I love everything about this video, when you have that encounter with Jesus, you no longer do things to satisfy your flesh but your spirit, instead of spending time watching things that do not edify your life, it is better to spend that time in His presence seeking Hhim. And something that the Holy Spirit revealed to me was that you cannot delight in songs or TV shows that exalt everything for which Jesus gave his life on the cross, that blew my mind! Thanks for this insight I have stopped watching days of our lives because the things the characters do are against GOD commands. I use to watch it since 2000 but it became kinda idolatry. Also videogames too
