1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are lawful for me but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but not all things are edifying."

Man I must say that you have one of the least toxic fanbases of a Christian YouTube channel. Keep up the good work.

Fun Fact: The guy who created Five Nights at Freddy’s is Christian, but he limits his horror to a psychological level

Thank you for not putting a jump scare. I'm no child but a 21 year old with a weak conscience 😅

My wife used to love horror films but since she came to faith and received the holy spirit she doesn't actually want to watch them anymore jesus 🙏❤

It's a good general rule with people. If there are things that cause someone else to stumble, don't try to do that with them. Also, don't do stuff that makes yourself stumble. There are things that no person should do, but there are grey areas as well.

Hi. Can you do a video about Christains that have mental disabilities. I haven't heard anyone talk about this. I really appreciate it. Thank you for these inspiring videos. They help me out a lot. 🙏

Fun fact:

Most classic horror movies are based on novels that aren't "horror"

1. Frankenstein is actually a dramatic tragedy

2. Dracula is more of a thriller/detective

3. Jekel and hyde is a mystery

I love the overall message in this video that making choices about things is very personal. I feel like we too try often to put things of this world into a box of good and bad. Now sure, there are many things in this world that are obviously not good for us or outright sinful, but many things are neutral and ambiguous. Our spiritual struggles are unique to us. What’s my biggest struggle might be the easiest part of someone else’s Faith. Thank you for promoting this very helpful message. As I grow in Faith I try to listen to my convictions and ask God about things I am unsure of. His perfect wisdom will eventually make things clear! ❤

2:45 True words have never been said more than what you just said! I think in our society we think that the devil and demons are cute, fun, and funny spirt that Tv depicts it. When in reality that couldn't be further from the truth!

I was really questioning this recently, so for this video to pop up, I thank God He is with me!

This is so true, and many horror movies make it seem like God cannot help the people in trouble.

This is a topic that needed to be addressed for some, because it definitely varies between Christians.

I really appreciate your videos, I recently found your youtube channel and as a youth I have many questions that might be unanswered. Your videos really help me to grow closer to God. Much appreciated

Great explanation! I don't watch many horror movies, but, when I do, I watch the classic Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street films. I don't care for horror games though. The movies with demons have given me a weird, confused feeling, so, I stay away. I play exploration/survival games or gladiator-type games on console or in virtual reality. The violence in-game may be brutal, but, I know it's fake, and I know better than to say/do otherwise. God bless!!

TLDR: I loved this video

I love your thoughtfulness here! It burdens my heart when Christians can't represent both sides to an argument when the Bible isn't explicitly dogmatic on a topic. I've been guilty in 2 ways on this subject: forcing my own weakened conscience's convictions onto other people, and judging others for being unable to watch what I have liberty to watch. You've articulated a beautiful biblical principle found in Romans 14:1-4 --

"As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand."

Psalm 101:3 "I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.".
This verse essentially means that they will deliberately avoid looking at or engaging with anything that is morally wrong or harmful, actively choosing to focus on things that are good and righteous.

Thank you for this! This is a thing among Christians, churches, and people who like to judge believers. I myself consume horror media (games/Youtube, not movies these days) so it's good to have some clear insight.
