Not all fibroids are benign...so this should not be stated. Positioning of uterus and swelling can also lead to major problems with lower back, legs, feet due to pressing on sciatica. Most doctors do not explain and probably do not even know this! Im so sick of the inadequate knowledge and "pretend knowledge" of this subject.

Girls is it normal that a doctor gets all freaked out by a huge "fibroid" and says you have to go to the hospital immediately? My sister got such a call today after our family doctor saw the results of her CT scan. She has something huge inside her uterus and I am so scared she has cancer.
