Helicobacter pylori infection or H.pylori infection is a common problems we find in our society of people. Many people come to us with diagnosed case of H.pylori. What are the symptoms we get with H.plylori infection? Sometimes may patients may not be symptomatic at all and the bacteria stays in our intestines as a commensal or an opportunistic infection that colonises and stays inside but some patients gets symptoms of pain or dyspepsia or discomfort in the upper abdomen. Diseases like peptic ulcer, duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer, low grade lymphomas of the stomach, gastric cancer, unexplained pain abdomen without any reason, unexplained anaemia. These are the common presentation of H.pylori infection. How do we get these infections? It normally happens in early childhood. Majority of the people get this infection in early childhood and this bacteria colonise in our stomach and causes inflammation, chronic inflammation, repair , damage and eventually the diseases which it can lead to.

I was sick with this for a year every single day i had a burning pain on the left side of belly..That actually had me pukke everyday..tons of trips to the ER only to be told i was constipated went on and on..unitle one night i started feeling weird then unconscious was rushed into emergency surgery almost lost my life because this h pylori had an ulcer feeding off a vain in belly ruptured it was absolutely horrible
