I kept trying to figure out how to pop the blade up, i was pulling it like you pull up the blade of a pocket knife. Mine doesnt have the trigger yours has. So if you have one like mine, what i eventually figured out was you have to pull the handles apart to pull up the blade. So the opposite action of squeezing them, pull them apart

I am going to return my Irwin pipe cutters because they only did two reasonable cuts of 50mm PVC DWV pipe.

Subsequent attempts to cut the PVC pipe cause it to shatter.

I have a really hard time cutting straight (90 deg cut) with my cutter ( husky 2")...Is there any special trick I should know of? Thank you

Is it better to get a PVC pipe cutter that handles larger pipes as well (up to 2"+), or is there are reason (besides price) to choose a cutter that handles only up to 1 5/8" pipes?

This was semi useful but you failed to show how to use the press down clamp for those who are using this for the first time and must go it alone. You skimmed right over it making this video semi useful and many people off to find something MORE useful.

Too fast for me to know how to open the cutter. I found another video that showed how to open the tool slowly then how to use. This is from an unexperienced women.
