Tbh, I totally piggyback socialize with the gang here lol, they have one friend who brings out particular people automatically in co-con and its always my fave combo. They are such a riot. The older engineer/tinkerer fellow and a rap loving, early 20's comedian. Its like Krieger from Archer!!

I think this is fine advice if you live in a big city where there are lots of potential friends, jobs, and anonymity, not so much if you live in a small town. Also, if you have friends from before you knew you were in a system, and they loved you all this time. Then there’s no real need to risk losing the friendship just because you get a diagnosis. The diagnosis doesn’t define us. You could lose important people from fear or stigma when they actually already know all the yous, and obviously accept the alters as a range of you (as my significant other likes to put it.). Does that make sense?

My best friend got angry with me for not telling her bout my traumas. it was on a special day out somewhere I didn't know aswell and I thought it would be a terrible idea to open up there and then.
