People really don't understand how helpless they are until they spar with someone.

Why is everybody in the comments section making fun of the bodybuilder dude? Like you were BJJ gurus before starting BJJ training? While BJJ is all about developing your humbleness and reducing your ego, what kind of egomaniac approach is that? I am a fresh bluebelt and of course choking most of the whitr belts easily but is that really an accomplishment? I don't think so, my real accomplishment during this time of my BJJ training is dumping my asshole behavior to others that are weaker than me! And one should not forget that there is always someone out there that is stronger than you and that will make you tap! Period...

The anticipation to see if that girl was actually going to run on the treadmill was killing me.

Blue belts are very advanced and can dominate anyone in rolling who's never trained as long as the size difference isn't extremely significant. Would be more interesting to see how a 1 stripe white belt would go up against a non trained person.

I have to admit, I forgot that there were 2 guys grappling in the foreground at about 1:30.🤣

My first roll was with a blue belt, LMAO, they have a base, they are strong, they will Anaconda you so easily if you haven't done this before.

Great transitions, control and top pressure. Good sport for not annihilating him immediately lol

This humbles big muscular guys more than anything

That guy didn’t look untrained. He looked like a white belt. He knew to bridge to try to escape mount, he knew to try to lock his feet to establish guard, etc

Don't grab your toes to solidify the triangle choke. Grab just above your ankle. If you grab your toes and your opponent bucks his hips just at the right time he can break your guard and if you've held on too tight it can break your foot.

I’m a two stripe white belt and I think the best I did against an untrained guy who was very very muscular (but I weigh 235lbs) was to submit him 15 times in 5 minutes, he had some background in some kind of wrestling. Just to say that untrained people have some reflexes that make it easy to submit them, extending their hands, not protecting their necks, thinking they’re safe when you’re at the bottom, it’s just easy and if you’re stronger than them it’s a lot easier too.

No body builder here and no blue belt either

My first class I remember I had a bluebelt get me in mount, he felt so heavy and I had no idea how to get him off.

No idea what it's called but that forward chokehold was shocking. If the goal was incapacitation it was already over.

Interestingly enough, this came up on my suggested YT feed 🤷🏼‍♂️

So many insecure people in the comment section. Untrained guy doesn't know how to defend himself, what a surprise.

I don’t believe he’s a blues belt I think he’s still relatively early in his training. White belt.
