But to give a serious answer, i don't like rolling with people who are too small because I have to constantly watch myself not to overuse my weight on them.

Chris is a good blue belt. I’m a 42 year old (1) strip blue belt myself. We have a IBJJF Gold medalist as a brown belt that recently earned his black belt. He is transitioning into MMA and is a absolute nightmare to roll with. But exceptionally fun. We have some very skilled (3-4) striped blue belts that are young and just crazy strong. I had been avoid rolling with them for about a year. Now I just started picking them as my first rolls. To my shock rolling with them for my first 3 or so rolls over the last 2 months has really helped my game. Because of how difficult they are, it is definitely making me really get my technique down. I attempted to get a north south choke one one of them, unfortunately I was unable to finish it, but he corrected my position. The next roll was a (4) striped purple belt and i got the north south on him using the corrections and got the tap. That was my first purple belt submission. So the moral of this story is roll with the really difficult guys and it will make you better.

My least rolling partner has to be the guy that when he takes full mount, has no moves and starts grinding his elbow on my face. 99.9999% of time I’m able to sweep him, but the elbow on the face doesn’t feel too nice.

Great video, wrestling is definetely better to get in advantageous positions, that's what wrestling is all about. And Chris showed how effective Bjj is even if you're in an disadvantageous position. Combine this two, and you'd be a deadly grappler, like what Derrick will be after some months of training 👍🏼 Props to both guys.
