Yo, this is Juico. The guy in the brown gi in this video. Not assuming anybody cares but for those that do, I just wanted to jump in and give an opportunity to clear some things up and do an AMA. Shout out to the homies and team mates I train with here trying to clear things up! I won't be responding to all the previous comments because, well that's a lot to go through.

So yea, if anyones still out there, I'll try to reply to any questions that make sense to reply to that pop up on this thread.

Go ahead, ask me anything.

next level sportsmanship, the immediate release and appropriate respect for a downed opponent is quite commendable

The immediate look of concern on his face just goes to show how much class and respect he has for his opponent.

Juico just received his blue belt last weekend. At the Fight Factory in Austin, we believe that, though white and blue belts should be focused on developing fundamentals and understanding, they should also be exposed to various parts of the advanced game. Juico was paying attention and, more importantly, drilling this move exhaustively. A properly applied technique knows no belt..and the same applies to a properly applied defense.

If that guy is a white belt then I am Abraham Lincoln.

The fact that he did want to render help and the amount of respect he gave the guy that was out is awesome

That’s not a white belt, that’s a sandbagger.

I got to say I love the honor and the sportsmanship. As soon as he realize that man was asleep he stepped back and he stopped attacking

Ref looked like he was preparing him for an open casket funeral. Jesus.

I remember back when I was a white belt and rolling like my life depended on it, I had a few close calls. I did a Peruvian on one guy and it was a loud open mat, he had no hands free to tap and he couldn’t tap out with his feet either. He had been trying to verbally tap (I later found out he was screaming) but myself and nobody else could hear him. I let go as I felt his body go limp and waited for him to come around. Not nice at all and to be avoided if possible!

The referee was really on yop of it. He knew what was most important: counting points! Safety always comes last.

Much respect for the sportsmanship, immediately disengaged and sitting respectfully instead of celebrating.

Opponent is out cold at about 18 seconds from the time the match starts. At 19 seconds his limp arm pops out from being entangled. Amazing skills. Great respect for the sportsmanship displayed here.

His immediate awareness of the opponent going limp is amazing. Respect.

That is a hell of a loop choke for a "white belt"
