This is good sauce, the missus made a batch for the freezer & we ended up eating it like soup

I like peppercorn sauce, ill always get it with steak and chips, usually just to dip the chips in. But if the steak is a little crap the sauce will save it.

Don't understand what all the ingredients are... sliced shallots, black pepper corn, brandy, then I'm lost 😂

Even better is cutting your shallots very fine and not removing them.
Flambé the brandy.
Use heavy cream not double cream.
Also, finish with butter.

Other than the veal stock, this sauce was executed terribly.

Crushing peppercorns under a knife is a flex these days? Just use a mill set to coarsest setting and stop being dumb

I hate it when they put the whole peppercorns in at the end. Like why even do that. You have ti separate them from the sauce when it’s on your plate and if you accidentally get one with a mouthful of steak and end up crushing it between your teeth. Just awful. It was amazing before you put those green peppercorns in it. Please tell me what I’m meant to do with those green peppercorns.

Does peppercorn sauce always contain veal stock? That makes me feel sick. I would never eat veal.
