today i give a video on why people need to STOP comparing guts and blackpowder and blood and iron. I also explain why the comparisons are invalid and stupid, and why they MUST BE STOPPED. ENJOY!!!

Blood and Iron is an actual freaking game, unlike so many Napoleonic Wars games that center around roleplay rather than an actual game. I dislike roleplay games, Blood and Iron is more fun every time than Marque of War, Napoleonic Wars and other LARP games.

Anyway, I used to see direct comparisons between B&I and my game in the early days of G&B's development. The game did take Coder's uniforms and I copied Hougoumont's exact layout because I was originally the only person working on the game. If G&B didn't have the involvement of my other developers and over like 20 contributors, I think the game would be worse in almost every way compared the Blood and Iron, because the game has had years of updates, and polish from Coder. I admire CoderQwerty because the game has just so much in it, and I couldn't imagine painstakingly researching and making uniforms all by myself for years.

In my honest opinion, I consider B&I graphics absolutely charming. It has that nostalgic feel that you will only find in games older than 2016.

i don't think a lot of people would be very happy if coderqwerty changed out the current graphics into more modern graphics, one of the main reasons people like blood and iron is that it has graphics that look like it's straight out of 2015

I was a B&I player, then played G&B as well. I like both games. To be fair, G&B is better in terms of player count, animations, map design, etc. I like B&I because of it's simplicity and how easy it is to play considering some of the newer games can be a bit overwhelming to some people

In guts and blackpowder, you need good teamwork to win an objective, or you get absolute donkeys for teammates, mobile players, people that alert the horde before preparations, and people that watch you get eaten. In blood and iron, you get rambos, sappers making *questionable* symbols with dirt, the uncommon random fly hacker that has a fully automatic musket minigun, random dude shouting the most vile stuff in chat 💀, and the runners/hiders. Both games have their upsides and downsides, but i still like to play both cause they bring me a great amount of joy.

I love the way both games look and play, both are relics of their time. G&B looks amazing and has a very unique premise, and B&I is like a time machine which shows you what Roblox looked like in 2016-17, which, at least in terms of quality, doesn’t exist anywhere else on Roblox.

This is all I have said! They are COMPLETELY different in almost every way. Also, saying Blood & Iron gets repetitive is actually insane. I've played Blood & Iron near non-stop for 7 years. That game has SO much potential. G&B is also a VERY FUN game, I started playing it when it literally first went public and still play it. However, I do find myself taking long breaks from it due to it being a PvE game. I respect CoderQwerty for all that he's done with B&I, and I also respect all of the devs working on G&B for making the game the way is today.
The only issue I have with G&B is that a lot of the cosmetic packs are pretty expensive. However, they do need to pay the devs so I see why that is so. I'm glad someone finally made a video on this! (I especially like that my good friend Zerm was the one to do so!)

Tbh I could see why ppl would compare blood and iron with Lexington and concord bc they both are literally the same game but why the actual heck would ppl compare b&i to g&b I have nothing against those games I find them good (including Lexington and concord)and idk why ppl would compare these games it’s honestly annoying but idrc abt that I’m just glad I have good games like them to play

1:34 I honestly agree and do the exact same thing. Blood and Iron would be a lot better if it had a complete revamp, but I do understand how B&I was made a long time ago and G&B is made in modern day with a lot of better ways to make Roblox games, or games in general, AND has a whole team working on it. However, I still like G&B a lot better than B&I and barely ever play B&I. It definitely needs a revamp, or something. People should stop comparing them, BUT I still think G&B is a lot better, and I play it a lot more.
