Guts & Blackpowder is a game taking place during the Napoleonic Wars with the undead rising from the ground. A group of survivors must hold out against the horde, only armed with muskets and swords.

For the longest time I have hoped for a Napoleonic zombie game and I really didn’t expect Roblox would come through with it. Well done.

Most terrifying part in this trailer is witnessing a Seaman use his blunderbuss on one shambler

Respects to the last guy, he fought even tho he knew he was gonna die anyway (and I’m quite impressed he handled all of them with just one Sabre)

Random fact: the last one standing is the Navyman from earlier in the trailer.
However, there seems to be a discrepancy in where he is. First time we see him he's outside, presumably just after he reloaded his weapon.
Then when we see him again, he's inside a building and injured.

Of course, this would be pretty rare as the navymen are actually the most useful and most survivable soldier class of them all in-game, usually preferring to be outside in open spaces as they're better off moving about.

Also neat detail where after when we see his arm bleed, he gets up, holds his chest.
Once we see him shout a battle cry there's more blood on his uniform.

For basically forever i hoped for a wave-based game against zombies with your friends that had a building mechanic. This is an amazing start

fun fact: the seaman charging in the end of the trailer hinted at a new charge ability in the officer class, which has the same battle cry.

( 0:15 ) The last man knew his fate was sealed due to his injuries and barricaded in a dead end, with the undead pounding on the door from the other side. But the man determinedly rose from the ground, clutching his sabre sword, telling himself that he would not go down without a fight. With a grunt of effort, the undead break through and the man lets out one last battle cry, ignoring his wounds and charging towards the enemy.

I love how when rivals (British and french or depending which map you are in) just worked as a team to get through the undead, complete objectives and escape. Very amazing game

If you know about the Napoleonic Wars, knowing the history and all, as well as the nations. This is something I would have never expected, knowing the timeline of events and the battles and all of a sudden, zombies. As each Infantrymen from different nations work together when they were probs fighting each other in brutal battles days earlier. An example, never thought Id see a english man attempting to help a french man.

The cutscenes in campaigns along with this trailer are so cinematic. You feel like you are in a good zombie horror movie

btw great trailer and totally played after seeing this since i really love Napoleon games

They should add some more animations for certain things like:
Jumping out windows
Glory kills
Losing endless
ETC.
