I only pluck my eyelashes (with my fingers) sometimes. It's only when my eye feels like it's being irritated by them. Plus, since it's only the weaker ones that are able to actually get plucked, my eyelashes are still pretty good.

as someone born with double eyelashes (that means ur born with thick curled long eyelashes) all they do is hurt the heck out of my eyes but i heard boys have double eyelashes a lot but i’m a girl

to the ppl who r asking "who would actually pluck their eyelashes" personally, I do it from anxiety. well I did. sometimes i still do. I had such bad axitey I started to develop a disorder where I would pluck all my eye brow hairs, some eyelashes, and even some of my just normal hair. This may not be the cause for everyone but is for me.

When I was a kid (6th-7th grade) I went through a hair-pulling phase. I plucked a bald spot on the side of my head and much of my eyebrows. However, it was plucking my eyelashes that got me to stop, Doing that caused me to develop Stys in both eyes; you never notice how often you blink until it hurts every time you do it.

I used to pluck my eyelashes due to severe anxiety with my trichotilomania and it was weird being my eyes with no lashes. It was lowkey satisfying seeing how smooth it was tho. But definitely would not recommend

For all of those wondering why someone would pluck their eyelashes: there could be many things going on but the first thing that came to mind is trichotillomania, a case of OCD where people pluck their hair/eyebrows/eyelashes as a way to soothe themselves.
