Actually, that's the Luke saber from ANH. It was a different design in ESB.

The reason the prequel saber is different is because a regular Graflex flash gun was too clunky to do the crazy choreography, so they machined Hayden a smaller one.

Just came across this video because I picked up the Anakin lightsaber in a dude's garage. It's surprisingly worn, but the worst of all was the blade didn't ignite. I was unable to get the screw to actually come out, just kept spinning. I was able to just pull the blade out, though. It was broken near the base which explained why it wouldn't illuminate past the first bulb. Do you know if there's a place online I could look to get a replacement blade? Or some repair? I paid only $50 for it, so if I can pay like $100-200 AT MOST for a replacement blade, then I think I still made out pretty well. I can clean it up a bit. I don't mind the blemishes, it gives it personality.

I just got the Anakin 2010 saber and it has a second black plastic cover on the battery pack that I can't figure out how to remove. Anyone know how? Thank you!

I like the ROTS version better. The activation box just flows better. That weird claw looking lever on the ANH/TFA saber just looks weird.

The lightsaber below is the one used in Episode IV. It's different cause Obi Wan made changes in it as Luke in Episode V.

Okay, so I have that exact same light saber and I did all the steps such as taking the pin out, and even an adjacent screw on the other side. I tried and tried but it still wouldn't come out. Any help?
