The problem is Luke and Vader never matched in strength. Vader was going easy on Luke in episode 6. As you can clearly see in the fight just life in Cloud City where Vader was merely testing Luke Skywalker the good in him will not allow him to kill Luke Skywalker and only cut off his arm because Luke cut Vader's shoulder.

anakin for sure would win, he has trained his whole life since he was a child and has had a ton of battle experience during the clone wars. He is a master tactician when it comes to war tactics but can also adapt really easily. he is also the chosen one, his connection with the force is much great I mean he has 20, 000 midiclorian cells. you could say his ego might be used against him as he acts before he thinks at times, and is very impulsive often letting his emotions get the best of him but that is also what makes him so strong. either way Anakin for sure would win

Almost everyone in the comment section is saying that "Luke would win because he is the strongest with the force and most force sensitive. When it comes to a lightsaber battle that isn't the case. Anakin had years of experience and training as a Jedi. Luke had like some months or a year with Yoda. Just because Yoda was the best teacher doesn't mean that he would make Luke win over Anakin in a lightsaber duel. Anakin's speed and technique with Form V would make Anakin the winner. Come with the arguments... I'm waiting.

I feel like anakins force feats were nerfed, he was strong enough in the force to bring two embodiments of the force to their knees, if that’s not a good example of raw power I don’t know what is.

Jar Jar Binks was the most powerful Sith for the dark side. Not even Emperor Palpatine knew he was being manipulated. The Jedi thought he was merey an idiot tagging along, yet he set things in motion that led to Darth Vader and the empire.

Short answer, Anakin is way too powerful and win almost flawlessly. Luke might be equally as powerful but he lacks training, especially in the combat.

well anakin, has more experience in fighting another force users, while the only force user that luke encountered by the time, i believe, was vader; anakin's feats during the clone wars earned him a name, and we're talking about a time where jedis where still a thing, so he wasn't a joke, also, during the vader vs luke fight, i think vader was holding back, since he was fighting his own son and what kind of anger he could have use against him?

Darth Vader is a hollow shell of what Anakin was . For one he doesn't have any natural limbs anymore which no matter how skilled one is with them it's just not the same feel. Number two was that brig crippled like that is a huge shock, and can change how he would fight. Number three, I mean he was burnt to a crisp and had to wear that full body suit just to survive and wouldn't have his full vision out of those two lenses in his helmet.

Wasn't this fight already settled in ROJ? You could argue that Anakin/Vader wasn't at his full power, but really neither was Luke. Anakin at least had the advantage of practically growing up in the Jedi Temple and receiving years of training under Obi-Wan and Yoda. And spending another 20 years under the tutelage of one of the most powerful Sith Lords ever. Except for some training on Dagobah, Luke practically trained himself. Even built his own lightsaber from Obi-Wan's notes. It's clear to me that Luke is the stronger of the 2 if he's able to beat Vader despite his disadvantages. And he had the discipline to flirt with the Dark Side without succumbing to it, unlike Anakin.

Sorry, but Anakin would win the physical category hands down. He's shown to be much stronger and quicker than his son, as seen during his brawl with Rush Clovis in The Clone Wars, where he nearly beat the guy (who is a capable fighter himself) to death with his fists. Not to mention Ani has the height and weight advantage as well.
