People seem to forget the importance of actual training, Anakin had the luxury of being trained in the Jedi temple itself, with the best teachers there were to offer, and since Anakin was a prodigy, quickly mastering anything he was taught..Luke is a different case, he didn’t have time to go through all the training methods, Yoda had to rush his training so he’ll be good enough to at least have a chance against Vader, but let’s be honest, only reason the fight lasted so long was because of Vader’s attachment towards Luke, nothing more nothing less, we all saw how quickly Vader disarmed Luke with one parry and could’ve easily killed him, regardless of him being more powerful in Episode 6, Vader still wouldn’t kill him because it was his son, it’s a poetic type of fight, just like how Anakin lost to Obi wan, Anakin surpassed his master in almost every aspect, but due to his overconfidence and dare I say stupidity, he tried to perform the Darth Maul kill strike and failed, meanwhile if he jumped in front of him and continued the fight that way there’s reason to believe he would eventually kill him, but that’s the magic of Star Wars fights, whatever happened..happened.

Luke obviously became more powerful as he got older, doing more impressive feats, if we’re talking about EU Luke that’s a different ballgame, but Originals Luke versus Prequels Anakin? Why is this even a question? They do have similar fighting style I’ll admit, but I still give the edge to Anakin, Anakin was one of the best Form V/Djem-So duelists of his era, and considering there was a temple full of Jedi masters that’s quite a feat, not to be overlooked.

Anakin was a general in the Clone Wars, and most of his strategies were strange, but resulted in a win, How would like get battle IQ, by roti, canonically, he had only been in like 3-4 battles, 1 of which he lost, there is no way he could get battle IQ, Anakin gets defense as well because both offense and defense come from experience, and Anakin had much more experience than like ever did
