Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time we take a look at Microsoft Recall and actually get our hands on it. This feature while it might have some perks has been exposed to be easily hackable and I'm going to show you how minimal of a thought Microsoft had in it's design. Thanks for watching!

"it's encrypted and impossible to access"

> it's stored in plaintext

Not a back door.
Not a front door.
A literal Window.

Imagine all the elderly about to be scammed out of their life savings because some teamviewer scammer microsoft impersonator got into grandmas recall and nabbed her passwords. This is nuts.

This is a privacy nightmare, what if it is enabled on a public computer such as at a library, airport or internet cafe, bad actors could have access to month's of usage by the unsuspecting public.

The irony of Windows recall might need to be recalled.

By the time Microsoft finished saying "It's secure and safe, " someone already broke into it.

If Microsoft refuses to remove it, then it is very important to them. That means they have financial gain from something that records your screen.

While it may have some good uses for some people. It SHOULD NOT be enabled by default, because I mean someone who knows computers probably wont get hacked, but old people, they sadly get scammed alot, and this feature will make it even easier for scammers to scam them (If the scammers even know how to use a computer themself, most of the time they dont).

You know, I think I’d rather live with the minor inconvenience of forgetting the title of a YouTube video I watched 5 weeks ago if the alternative is the flipping Telescreen.

Wait for the malware to turn it on in the background and make it to where you think it's off hiding the files and then upload your info to them. It will happen.

I don't even think they will be able to use it in Europe, but yeah... This is prime time to learn how to Linux. Steam Deck eased me in, my body is ready.

I recently made the jump to Linux Mint when I heard this was going to be a thing. I didn’t realize the migration would be so painless. There’s a piece of software for anything you could need!
I have windows installed only for iRacing/sim racing in general. (IRacing isn’t cool with VMs)

This feels like a program to make it just easier for hackers to grab your data and work on it on their own time. Like hiding all your money inside a small lockbox under your bed, it can have the best lock ever but if the container can be picked up you've just gift wrapped what they wanted. Glad I can't run this now
