I think Minthara's dialogue when you ask about her opinon on Karlach sums up my feelings on karlach pretty well,
also how is withers who was the original god of death so nice he especially feels like a grandfather to dark urge if you decide to go the good route as dark urge.

This scene destroyed me. My Durge was romancing Karlach, and Karlach was the one was taught her how to fight for the life she wanted for herself. In the end, they had so little time to be their true selves with each other. But Karlach inspired her to be who she is today and thinks of her darling every time she is able to do good for either herself or others. I'm sure a lot of people would argue it's not the best ending, but it's so perfectly bittersweet and they both got to live exactly the lives they wanted.

I like to headcanon that after spending a year, maybe more, in Avernus with wyll and karlach you can find a cure to her engine, come back to faerun and buy a tavern/inn and karlach can finally hang up the battle axe with you and enjoy a quiet life

No ending of Karlach is what i really call a happy ending

I either let her become a Mindflayer because she offered it. Or i let her go to Avernus with Wyll. My tiefling paladin even went with them, with Karlach as her best friend and Wyll as her partner

I think a real happy ending would be if she gets what she wants. She keeps saying she wants to live and stay

My run unfortunatelly 😭 and the reason is pretty stupid: bug with Wyll's father. He wasn't in the prison, so we couldn't save him, so Wyll didn't talk to him and didn't become Blade of Avernus. And I couldn't send him with Karlach 🥺 I had a different partner and didn't want to go to Avernus with her, sooo I had to watch her die 😭

I went to Avernus with my buddy Karlach after romancing Shadowheart. Apparently I accidentally broke up with Shadowheart having done that as she treats me like a friend now.

I still know I made the right call, besides I sacrificed my "humanity" (Githmanity?) so a certain someone wouldn't and could lead our people to salvation from the false god Vlaakith.
