I'm genuinely impressed they made a special evil ending for Karlach and DIDN'T make it feel like a complete 180. Like obviously this isn't the Karlach we all know and love, but it still does feel like her, just after reaching a breaking point, and releasing her pent up rage like when you first meet her, just on a MUCH grander scale

Karlach’s VA is fantastic. The fact that they were able to make such a normally bubbly and friendly character sound genuinely sinister for this is so cool. 3:31 was chilling in the best possible way. And major props to Larian for actually designing an evil ending actually themed entirely around Karlach, even though most would not do an evil playthrough as her.

Honestly love how Karlach ripping her heart out is a metaphor of showing she lost her "heart (of goodness)" 'cause of this evil ending. ❤🔥

That little crack in her mask. A flicker of realization of what she has done. Then snap, back to being evil. Despite the evil, she's still Karlach deep inside.

This is a very sensible ending for her to have, particularly after killing Gortash and having her breakdown about how everyone else gets to live out a happy, long life but her. Though normally she comes to the conclusion that she's lived the best life she could, I can also see her whirling around at Baldur's Gate and making everyone else feel her pain. Killing Gortash didn't fill that hole inside of her, maybe killing everyone else would. Nobody came to save her, after all-- she was left all alone for years as a warhound, only to find that nobody had ever even gone looking for her. Instead they'd praised her slaver as a savior, and left her to die.

people say it doesnt fit her character, but ketheric used to be good man too until everything was taken from him, the power to control the absolute waking up your deepest darkest desire, in this instance karlach's revenge against the people who made her suffer, she lost control, lost her heart, there's nothing there just pure rage and revenge

I would love to see Karlach go back to Avernus to kick Zariel's butt instead of massacring Baldurs Gate, like, Gortash sold her off to Zariel sure, but it was Zariel who made a soldier and a monster out of her

It’s stuff like this that makes me regret the other character don’t have inner monologues. Karlach is the only one and it adds so much to her playthrough compared to everyone else.
