Oscars are not overly aggressive fish. They will eat anything that fits in their mouth. They generally have semi aggressive demeanors. After all, they are cichlids.

Buttercups are quickly devoured in the most dangerous tank in the world. I will be looking forward to seeing more videos of the evolution in Tony's garage!

To all the guys who were saying nah they are so chill... There ya go. Mine were murder machines. I always thought it was because they were a breading pair but no... Its because the are amazon cichlids and they are semi related to piranhas. Mean a.f.

They really aren't Aggressive fish, an aggressive fish at that size would have killed everything in the tank by now. They will however eat anything that fits in its mouth.

Definitely not the most aggressive fish in the world. They are aggressive eaters. They will try to eat anything that fits in its mouth. Yet if a fish stands up to it even if it's smaller. They will get bullied and sometimes die just from the stress of having a dominant fish in the tank.

Oscar's can be aggressive but they could also not be but far from the most aggressive you want to see something that crazy look at a dovii cichlid

So we used to have a blueberry Oscar, called him Bloscar. We'd feed him goldfish (and sometimes put the aggressive cichlids in the little hanging fishtank cage to scare them straight), well one day one of these PetSmart goldfish wasn't being eaten by Bloscar. Days pass, he's still eating the others, but now this calico cannibal fish is eating the goldfish with him, ended up naming her Perlish (after my tortoiseshell calico Purrlean, a rip on Purloin from pokemon). She eventually grew to almost 3/4ths of Bloscar's size, before dying inexplicably. When Perlish died Bloscar kept nudging her body to the bubble filters, and died exactly a week later. Found out he ate a rock and choked, despite the plentiful food he always had.

Watch your fingers! They may be sausages to Oscar.😂

Oscars are territorial and don't do well with most tank mates. Plecostamous (sp?) tend to be the only tank mates that can handle. 😢

I had Oscars the only thing that will survive in a tank with an Oscar is an oscar😂

None of your fish seem happy or content, but rather look like a bunch of cons in booking area of a jailhouse

I had my Oscar for 6 years then one day it jumped out of the tank in the middle of the night. Make sure your top is weighted down.
