How To Crochet the Granny Stitch

This stitch is so simple and so much fun! Create anything from blankets to cardigans. It’s an easy stitch to learn and is only a two row repeat.

Please note, that when start to repeat row 2, you will work in the spaces, rather than the stitches! That's the only difference as you work throughout the blanket. You will see it demonstrated in the video, but I missed mentioning it!

Hi. I am just starting the pattern for the cardigan and when I read through the written pattern it says the row repeat is rows 3 and 4? I heard you say on this commentary it's row 2 and 3. Please can you clarify which is the correct row repeat. Thank you 😊
