The cheapest Michelin starred dish I’ve had to date are the delicious BBQ pork buns from Hong Kong dim sum restaurant, Tim Ho Wan. Just HK$14, or about £1.35. And they’re absolutely delicious.

People who have never been to Japan assume it's very expensive but it's not compared to Ireland or the Scandinavian countries and it's the only place I've ever been where the food is the same price in the airports as anywhere else in the country

America has its BBQ masters and Japan has its masters of Dashi. Both take great time and great care. You can tell if love and respect for their craft is present with every bite or slurp. 🇺🇸 🇯🇵

Posh pot noodle, afternoon tea is just Posh bread then!

The narrative is catered to those with minimal knowledge of Japanese food. It is a bit tedious to foodie viewers. Good to see Paul stepping out of his comfort zone though!

Why does everything in Japan seem so upmarket

I'm very eager to see what they put in there just for your reaction to be that shocking?

Not a big fan of ramen noodles and lived in Japan. But I love 热干面 from China. Great video btw

I can’t believe all the ingredients are discarded once the broth is procured. It seems such a waste. I’m sure there’s something they could find to use it for, regardless if it’s filled with flavor or not.
