It can feel insanely good. I remember wet socks being the worst. You get home and start itching and you just can't stop. It legit felt like I was going to climax from itching. A real pain afterwards tho.

Wow that sounds dry!! My partner has eczema and he does like a good scratch.
He also likes a hot bath, dab dry, then I help him slather on half a tub of emollient. So satisfying seeing the skin soak it up.

I have really bad eczema for me what helps the most is running hot water and then putting on Vaseline and hydrocortisone.

I coat my hands in vaseline twice daily and put hot cotton gloves on for my dry hands

You know, I don't wear rings anymore for my own good but I used to wear them and when I was itchy I rub my hands together and the friction from my rings would break the skin and i'd end up with bits between my fingers with no skin, like a blister had just burst. It was so painful but while you're itching it feels amazing 😭🤦‍♀️
