I was thinking they were going to split the whole rock in half.

“But unfortunately there wasn’t a centre” - This guy, seconds after breaking the centre out of the fossil

Every video I’ve watched from you, you destroy the fossil and claim that it wasn’t preserved properly.

The Yorkshire Jurassic Coast line will just be sand by the time this guy is done with it

I worked in the west texas oilfield for a few years operating heavy equipment and when we dug I’d see hundred of amonites be dug up, I still have some that are in perfect fully cleaned off over a foot and a half across. I saw some that were broken in half that were easily 2 feet or bigger. Fun fact, they are between 65-400+ million years since they were extinct!

Bro skipped the tutorial mode on how to extract fossils and just ruins them. Here’s the best part: he blames the fossil 😂

Takes eons to form...
Takes seconds to destroy...

Never chisel or hammer perpendicular to the face of the fossil like he did. Going perpendicular usually breaks the fossil. Always go parallel and towards the outside edge. If done correctly fossils like ammonites and scaphites will very often help the matrix come off of its own face making for very little prep and lab work.

YouTube recommend me this video twice in 30 minutes. They really need to figure out the shorts. So many people upload but they show us the same videos over and over.

Really cool to see all the fossils. But I can’t stop thinking, can anyone just go out and crack every possible rock in these locations? Or do you have to have a permit?

Love the fact that you actually showed us what it would look like fully taken out of the stone, instead of making a part two 😅👍
