"How would you like your rock, sir?"
"Medium rare please."

Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell. Wikipedia

So basically an Infinity Stone.

Some explanation for what’s going on:

There’s a type of round rock called a concretion, which forms around an object in areas where lots of sediments (like sand or clay) are deposited very quickly. They very often has fossils inside of them. These people split one open to reveal ammolite, which is a rare gemstone formed from certain ammonites in Alberta, Canada and parts of the US just south of Alberta. Ammonite are a gigantic group ancient shelled animals that died out with the dinosaurs. They’re the cool spiral shelled fossils you often see in gift shops and bullcrap crystal healing quackery stores

For people wandering what this is, it's a sea creature called an ammonite and it has been fossilized.

And this is a very special kind of ammonite, because that layer of red is an opal-like mineral that formed on it called ammolite. Sometimes the color can be green, blue, red and yellow and or a combination of colors. It's popular for use as gemstone material, like a pendant or rings.

Who else was expecting "ammonite" as in the prehistoric mollusk and not "ammolite" as in the red mineral?

Madagascar has the really cool silver colored ammonites with slight blue hue. Cheap as dirt. Every rock shop has a few to view, so you can display some too. The creatures had to be sort of strong to swim around with a shell that big. I found prehistoric clam shells inland in NC and the shell was 3/8 " thick, so the fish could not crunch them. So the ancient fish were mean and Irish, and they even drank like fish to boot.
