That doesn’t factor in greed, lust, vanity, etc. Many people lack moral and/or ethical values for a eutopia like that to be maintained, let alone achieved.

We live in exciting times, no doubt. Doing creative and strategic jobs is gonna be more and more beneficial in near future!

I literally had that idea a year before but i dropped it because it was crazy to think that everyone would be passionate about doing a single task of innovation as some people quite enjoy what they are doing.

I studied engineering and worked as an engineer for some years. Now with time and age, I realize how important social science is - we need capable social scientists to come up with a better education system, we need capable social scientists to analyze government policies and make them better etc.
Engineering and the hard sciences may create tools, but without the social sciences to inform, update & revitalize the society alongside the progress of technology, the society won't benefit from those tools and may even misuse or not understand how to use them in the first place.

Absolutely agree! 🌟 Providing top-notch education and a supportive environment to the younger generation, no matter their background, is crucial. This can drastically reduce issues related to psychological and physical scarcity. Imagine a world where resources are abundant for everyone, both now and in the future. It's a game-changer! 🚀

This is the problem with shorts. For example, I have 'enough' understanding of computers, can write some code and can build some hardware, but I'm not rich. So just having the education won't make you rich, its what you do with the skills that matter. Paul graham says you have to look for problems to solve, just having trouble finding these problems that I would enjoy solving.

1) Being a good engineer doesn't automatically make you a good businessman. 2) Steve Jobs and Richard Brandon weren't trained engineers but they were able to build great companies. Therefore, this guy's advice is based on his personal beliefs rather than a general truth.

In India a majority of engineers are unemployable in the field they have studied, therefore this method won't work, people have to be trained according to their aptitude.

It’s true, technology and labor are the things that make a country rich. If people were engineers they would create tech to do jobs faster better, and that’s why the US is better, bc of industrialization. Look at Mexico rn, the president is hiring engineers to create stuff and their gas prices are better than US now.

When people don’t have anything to do, things don’t work the way it is mentioned here.

This needs governments backing. if not regulated enterprises will stifle competition. They're still doing it. In America, it is next to impossible to start a health insurance company that offers better deals than the current ones because of the monopoly.

All of the antiwork people who are complaining about bad wages are simply not in STEM.

Rich is a relative term.
If you are rich,
someone is relatively poor to you.
So NO, everyone can't be rich.

If everyone learned computer programs then the suply of tech labourers will increase leading to reduction in there salary and again making them poorer than society.. Do any job which has less supply that's the only way to become rich
