It's packed with 23 Nuggets from top Influential Doers and Entrepreneurs (in their own words), 🎆 visuals (to make it super easy to understand), and my own 💭 reflections.

Using the beautiful analogy of climbing a mountain, Naval argues that our human bias towards (short-term) pain avoidance makes us avoid to Start Over a new path to the top of the mountain. But is precisely this avoidance the impediment to develop our full potential and reach our highest possible success in anything.

Enjoy!

- You must OWN:
• Something in which you PRODUCTIZE YOURSELF --- 3 ingredients: Accountability (put your name on it) / Leverage (e.g./ Code & Media) / Specific Knowledge ( )

• (Or...) partially a Business --- Buy stock in companies / Employee in a start-up with lots of stock options / Partner in a private business

- If you don't OWN fully or partially a business/es:
• It is nearly impossible to get wealthy!

- "The moment of Suffering is when you see reality as it is...". We push off reality because we are biased to avoid pain.

* People struggle implementing some of the principles to get rich because they are usually already set and directed in a certain trajectory. And it is painful to make an important change in the trajectory (pain avoidance).

* "Nobody wants to go back down the mountain to find the path to the top. Everybody wants to stay in the path they are and make a few teaks to get to the top".

- Be ready to unlearn.

- Embrace the Beginner's Mindset. Be willing to go down the "mountain" and start all over. Because any path that you are already enrolled could be the impediment to your full potential.

All works of commentary, reviewing, video editing and (many times) the mixing of different content sources do come from this channel's creativity. Thus, I believe there is a "transformation of value" from any particular raw audio source, making it a stronger case for "fair use" right. Also, I believe this video is supportive to the owners of the audio source contents, as it helps to spread their invaluable message in a positive way. But in any case, as mentioned in the previous paragraph, if any owner do not want their content to be featured in this video, please contact me :)

Whoever runs this channel, I already know you're going to be rich AF. You have to be somebody peculiar to dissect someone's wisdom word by word, extracting deep insight from it. Good job

money is only half the battle... you gotta tailor your life to your needs. Some people want house, others are fine with studio apartments. The big X factor is when you want to start a family, as that requires at least 3x the earning potential a single person needs.

great point @ 2:40

everyday we are climbing a mountain; once we realize the mountain is not right, we need to switch mountains and climb again. So we should always be climbing and not resting on our laurels and continuing to maintain that beginners mindset, not the experts mindset

Great work man! I just keep it as simple as possible too: invest in good index funds/ETFs with low fees. Doesn’t take a lot of money per month, just consistency!

it is not the learning that is necessarily the hard part, but the unlearning. ✍🏽

The shorter videos are better
Its hard to find time to watch the 20 minute snippets sometimes
Just constructive criticism

On the concept of willing to go back down the mountain… the question I have is: how do you know you just haven’t gone up high enough on the path that you were already on?

The other way is be born into an intelligent conservative educated wealthy family who has accumulated family wealth through the time value of money principle of investing and they pass down a trust fund that benefitted from time value of money before you were born that continues to compound as you are a baby and into your childhood so that by the time you are an adult and gain access to the trust and finally understand the importance of investing, you are already worth multi millions (be it generational real estate or stocks) and benefited from time before you were even alive to compound that value of money

We are going the wrong way you guys.
Just by gettings these "Nugget" videos we think that money would solve our problems.

It would not! we need to stop following these foolish advices and just live the way each and everyone of us chose to.
If your good with your hands do the best manual labour you can do.
Your good at coding? wonderful build the next advanced A.I to improve humanity.
Are you a caring loving human being? you can get into medicine or even god forbid teaching we need these people too.
"Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life" - Confucius.

We are a huge society who builds and moves forward together! remember to love and care for each and everyone you know, especially the ones you hate
because only then you will realize that you had everything you needed from the get go!
