Back in the early 70s as a young teen, I loved ELO! Still do. Never heard of symphonic rock before. Pure brilliance!

Jeff Lynne is as close to the Beatles as you can get these days. Lucky to have seen them in 2018, happiest concert I've ever seen. So much joy from everyone there, nothing but peace and happiness..

I have to say your channel is second to none. You remind me of my best friend growing up. He used to come to my place and listen to rock and I would go to his house and listen to R&B. Old R&B is the best. His Mama used to say y'all are mixed up. I just want to say I appreciate you and thank you. Good memories.

"Can't Get It Out Of My Head" - as an ELO original - is the greatest Beatles song that The Beatles never recorded.

ELO created the perfect definition of an earworm with this song: you literally can't get it out of your head. 🥰😍

I've been a fan of ELO since the mid '70s. In 1978, I was 14 yrs old and I saw ELO in concert. Their music still gives me goosebumps to this day.

It is beautiful just watching his reaction to music and that I was loving as a 13 year old. ELO was one of the best of SO MANY good bands and sounds in the 70’s. I remember them traveling with this orchestra in a Cleveland, Ohio concert.

I saw ELO twice in my lifetime. First concert 1976, cost $5.50!! (I kept all my concert ticket stubs) It was an outdoor venue, they were known to do a laser show (new tech) and they had the light bouncing off the cello and hitting the stars in the sky....I can't get it outta' my head. Second show indoors (Montreal Forum) 1977, $6.50! Everyone could see a great show in those days.

Love that you're continuing with ELO! Thanks, Jamel!!❤️👏🏻💯
I'm suggesting the official video of *Rockaria!* so you can see the guys on the orchestral instruments... Just epic! *Shine A Little Love & Tightrope* are also fantastic! Other commenters have mentioned more wonderful songs! ELO is definitely a band that brings people together!
Thanks for everything you do, Jamel! You truly have a heart of gold! Please keep safe!! ❤️ From 🇨🇦

Please react to “All over the world” and “Twilight”, specially the version live in Wembley for both.

"Robin hood, William tell, ivanhoe and Lancelot" is an interesting way to start a verse!
Great video

That "aliens having a conversation" sound was a klezmer synthesizer with a pitch bender if I'm not mistaken

ELO has a very "Beatles" type sound especially on this song

Jamel, , , , all this music and songs you like so much just played in the background of parties and life as we knew it while growing up. Yes, , , they've stayed with us and are PART of who we are.👍😎
