1) Trail Mix or Granola
2) Fruit Juices or Smoothies
3) Salad Dressings
4) Avocado
5) Coconut Milk
6) Natural Sweeteners
7) Energy Bars
8) Gluten-Free Foods
9) Vegetable Chips
10) Frozen Yoghurt
11) Nut Butter

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be eating all these foods, in fact, most of them should be part of your diet. But be aware that they are NOT “free” calories. Those calories can still add up, causing you to experience a weight loss plateau or even weight gain.

So what’s the key to not gaining weight on healthy foods? The answer is fairly simple – you should know what you’re eating and PORTION CONTROL is the key. Apply these tips and train yourself to be a MINDFUL eater.

1. Trail mix or granola - portion control quarter cup
2. Juice fruits- same amount of sugar as coke. Consume whole fruit instead/veg juice
3. Salad dressing
4. Avocado
5. Coconut milk
6. Natural sweeteners like honey maple syrup coconut sugar

I agree the title is a bit click baity but everything she talks about makes sense. It's portion control and being aware of overeating. There are a lot of people who are not aware of this. I didn't learn anything in this video because I was already aware but I will be forwarding this video to many of my friends who don't understand "healthy" vs portion control.

Anything can make you gain weight no matter how healthy it is. If you're in a calorie deficit, you can lose weight eating mcdonalds everyday, same way you can gain weight eating fruits. Just eat mindfully and stop when you're full, make sure you are consuming whole mainly unprocessed foods. Also my name is Joanna loll so I love this channel

This is so true! When I started eating healthy my weight sky rocketed. I thought I could eat as much as I wanted because it was healthy. People who say all obese people eat fast food made things even worse for me because I never ate fast food!!

I’ve had the experience of gaining weight while using energy bars. They aren’t as filling as one would imagine & as you shared I wasn’t doing high endurance training. So I have since eliminated them from my diet. Totally makes sense!! Thank you!!

I love how informative this video is. Trying to loose weight on your own is harder and when market is crowded with healthy things one gets easily confused. I love how she not only told what not to choose but she provided knowledge about how you can eat/use them or find alternatives. Mindfulness is key here. Anything in excess is excess wheather it's healthy or junk food.
