Could This Be LAST WIPE? Escape From Tarkov

It's getting more and more likely the release of escape from tarkov 1.0 is on the horizon and today I open the floor to the possibility to this idea and give some ideas as to why people are thinking this new tarkov wipe could be the last!

We are still missing info on: graphics rework, map expansion like customs and lighthouse, KO sistem, streets finalisation, destruction of same specific walls on certian maps as showed in one of the streets trailers, missile launchers, ingame traders, and hella bug fixing

I believe that the day terminal comes out it will be 1.0. And as for development time, Rust took about 10 years to release as 1.0

Given that he's said it's not soon but sooner than we think... my prediction is that we will have one more wipe after this one coming up in August, and then 1.0 after that.

i think its too early considering they havent done a lot of things they promised, including transfer to new unity

whenever Terminal gets released we will get 1.0 on that patch or next patch, whenever that is. I don't think this will be the end of wipe cycles cause i think they have said you will have the ability to opt into "wipe seasons" i think this was mentioned in an interview or TarkovTV.

Just a thought. Wouldnt it be better for most of the playerbase to either never wipe and instead be able to prestige whenever you want, or unlocking the ability to prestige every six months or so when wipe usually happens. That way most of us has the opportunity to actually reach endgame.

I still hope they add a no wipe character so I can actually enjoy the game and progressing. Having to do the same quests and losing progress every six months made me quit the game.

Yeah no, there is still way too many features BSG has promised will be in the game that are so far from complete. 1.0 for Tarkov is just a pipe dream players are convincing themselves is right around the corner

Having PMC "Karma" and they actively hunt you is bogus. BSG continues to force a certain playstyle and it infuriates me. lol

No. They already said there is still going to be a wipe cycle. There will just be two PMCs one for wipe and no wipe

Obviously they will release 1.0 at some point, but will be longer than anyone wants it, cause it makes them money, as soon as wipes stop the game will slowly fade, like every game…..

Could absolutely be the last wipe! If they want their game to die. Because it absolutely will. It dies after 5 months. No more wipes the game would be boring as hell.
