I learned programming by working on passion projects. I wanted to make a game - learned c# with unity. I wanted to build add-ons for blender - phyton it is. I had a dream to build a website - html, js, css and so on. Granted, I don't have the deepest knowledge in all of them but when I try to solve a specific problem, I know that i can do it, and then I will learn along the way. Thanks to the awesome people on the internet!

I believe that free time - work life balance is really the most important thing for an employee (programmers included). Having free time and enjoying yourself really boosts mental health which will boost productivity!

i honestly agree. I see many programmers just copy pasting code without taking that time to really understand what it all means and that's something that always feels really wrong.

Nice collection! I like it! :) But I also got one tip:
When you wanna learn a new language, start with learning about the philosophy behind it (what was the motivation of the creator of the language)... with that knowledge in the back of your head you will have a much easier time understanding why something is being done as it is. :) (without it, you'll often scratch your head and wonder WTF WHY???!?! ;-) )

The best thing I did in my life is to subscribe here while playing your video 'Programmers are stupid'. Last week I got stucked in the valley of despair. Last night I texted my girl saying I wanted to quit but she just slapped me with the truth. "You always say you want to quit but you never did. You said that you don't want to do it anymore but in the end of the day you finished it.". Thank you Kenny you always give me hope to do this I always got frustrated because of my low comprehension but I should not think of that anymore. One code at a time!
