What do you think the most useful tip out of these was? Are you going to try any of them?

I've learned a lot from this guy. I've grown over 100k subscribers in just a little over a year. Did it with my Note 8, a c922, a gopro and a Yeti mic.

In a 100 years, people will be like: Wow, how can I recreate glitches like this to make my video look old school?

Most useful tip: That YouTube production is a learning process. Excited to join the ranks. Thank you for this video!

I think "don't hesitate" is some of the best advice here. I hesitated for quite some time and just recently uploaded my first gaming vid. It's definitely not perfect, but I am happy to have started, even with my 2 subs. But that's 2 more than I've had for the past few months of not posting.

You got me on that hesitation... That's been the biggest problem! Self doubt and procrastination is a personal demon of mine. Thanks for keeping it real Harris! This has me motivated!

"Less than one percent of this audience has actually started making youtube videos" I started because of your advice. Not just in the context to make it on twitch, but the idea of setting myself up, not hesitating and not only trying ONE thing like twitch or youtube. I have twitch, gaming videos on here, in the midst of setting up another channel for cooking as well. (another passion of mine). I owe a lot of the inspiration to start this to a friend but a lot of the advice and knowledge I have gained has come from your videos. Just wanted to say thankyou for making these, what you're doing is unreal.

Didn't want this video to end. Absolutely great advice. I'd love to see more like this...I'm sure you have discovered even more since this came out. Especially with the rebranding/transition to senpai. Thanks, Harris, for all you do. Seriously, your channel is a big part of my work life as a content creator.

Bro I'm new at the whole content creator scene but I love the positive outlook and no BS you talk about in your vids. Very informal. Even if these are a few yrs old. I appreciate the posts and hope to apply them being a 40yr old that has a ton of time on his hands when I'm not taking care of my son. Glad there are a few of you honest guys out there. Thanks again.

Thank you. I’ve incorporated everything you guys have mentioned in most of your videos and it’s paying off. From creating YouTube content to finding my voice to 1 video a week. — it works. I’d also add “stay as niche as you possibly can until you outgrow your niche.” I can’t say thank you enough. ☮️❤️ and 🚀

"Don't hesitate" Is the best advice for me in this video. I have been putting it off for months when I really wanted to do it. Yesterday I finally made my first video due to watching this so thank you! The process was fun even if results don't come with it! :)

What are your thoughts on youtube punishing content creators who advertise their Twitch stream on youtube? It makes sense since Youtube doesn't want people to leave their website for a competitor.

I don't know how much it affects and I could be wrong but ever since I started promoting my Twitch on youtube regularly, I've seen an insane drop in traffic on youtube.

PERFECT. I am thinking of starting my own YouTube channel. Right now, just opened this "OBS" for the first time today (looks like lots to learn), I bought the e2esoft "iVCam" permanent license as I'll be using my cellphone cameras (I have 2 high-quality Samsung's, both work perfectly), some streaming stuff, stands, mounts etc..), I have good editing software as well. So it seems like you're pro at this, I'm sure I'll be back to view some more of your great vids... Cheers!

Some really sound advice here. We are currently on that 'Click that upload button' stage and have enjoyed and learnt so much from every upload, we even have a fan! Incorporating Youtube/Twitch is a little daunting but as you say hesitation can become a huge barrier to taking your first step. The psychology behind video titles was really interesting. I hope people can take these ideas and really build communities and reach their goals!
