I just bought that exact mower!!! Best mower out there...SCAG is the Cadillac of all mowers!!! Love my v-ride 2...I hate putting it away when I’m done!!! SCAGNATION BABY!!!!

I've had gravely and sold them all my dealer was horrible.. then i bought kubota which is bobcat but after 2yrs with them they can't handle wet, high grass lawns, especially with the northeast grass. First yr we been extremely wet. But I been debating whether to go with wright, scag, or a deere. My kubota dealer sells wright. Scag dealer is near.

Just demoed a scag v ride 2, I like it cut is amazing in wet grass and leaves. It is a heavy mower and much heavier than a wright. I demoed a stander x and the v ride 2. The wright is jumpy do to short deck and center of gravity. Deck on v ride is heavy and for a stand on unit it keeps it on the ground vs wright. Only thing I dont like very heavy to lift deck and I did scalp a little with the v ride.. really a tough decision. Cut quality both are great but scag v ride with wet grass and leaves wins. Ill be purchasing one or the other in spring. Im leaning more toward scag but I want to demo the wright again in wet conditions..

GREAT VIDEO!! I love watching what people think if mowers. The only thing I disagree with is the ride. The only better ride is a Farris. Farris and a great ride. But for everything thing else Scag is better! I know because I work on this stuff!! Give me a call this weekend!

I will agree that the Scag Velocity is hard to beat. My problem with the VRide2 is the small tires. I've cut the very same lawns with Turf Tigers and they did not scalp but that VRide2 scalped several of them all to hell.

You should put the shot blocker on the mower, it could save you some clean up time.

Watering 3 days a week should be plenty but it also depends on how long they water and what time of the day. It’s very unusual to see grass yellowing north of us.
