What has helped me with this as a wife is writing a list of things that I admire in my husband. I keep it in my journal. When I find myself annoyed, I refer to the list and I make sure to share traits that I admire with him. I have a list of over 100 things and it has been really helpful when I am challenged by marriage.

Husband's often lose that respect based on their poor behavior and choices. A lot of men act one way long enough to get married and the first couple months to a year and then change. Men need to step up and take responsibility for their actions. Women desperately want a husband they can admire and respect and so many put up with too much for too long.
