Helpful solution to my situation 2005 ultima 2.5, after numerous tries of the car not taking the reset I did 2 things, first I reset the check engine light to get it off : switch ignition on 3 sec, 5 times press accelerator release in 5 sec, wait 7 sec, hold accelerator down 10 sec. Second I disconnected both the negative battery cable and the throttle body harness then reconnected. Afterwards completed all instructions in this video using stopwatch letting it run continuously through steps, being as on time in the seconds as possible and now mine is fixed! Thank you guys at a1 auto. This video helped me a lot. I didn’t know you had to reprogram anything until now. It worked great with my 2002 Nissan Altima with a manual transmission. But I also followed the advice of another person to make the idle go back to normal. When getting rid of the code then you have to unplug the throttle body and the battery- , wait a minute or so plug it all back then put the ignition on On wait 3 seconds, then pump the gas 5 times in 5 seconds then let go of the gas pedal Wait 7 seconds then hold it down for another 10. The check engine will blink then when it stops blinking and stays on let go of the pedal wait 3 seconds and turn the vehicle on. The cars idle should go back to normal. Like 600 - 800 rpms. Thanks again.

For Nissan Tiida 2007: After CEL becomes solid again release the pedal, start the engine within 3secs and let it idle. If it's still high-rev/pulsating idle, with foot on the brake, shift into Drive. Idle will now go down under 1000rpm. Shift to Park again, and the car will find its regular idle speed (near 650-700 rpm). BTW, thanks for the video.

I had the worst luck and almost gave up and took it the shop. Make sure your codes are cleared. Drive around for a little, stop the car, take keys out ignition for a little. Keep your key in the ignition and do everything in a row and use a stop watch. On the 2nd step, turn on and off quickly instead of counting. Did it like 20 times and having a breathalyzer made it even more difficult 😅
