some notes for after watching the video so that you can do the steps and not just listen to the vid and leave it there (me)
1:13 1. be clear with what you want to change; what are your goals? who do you want to be? write it down on a piece of paper. vision board.
3:31 2. how to actually change: making small changes day by day (be consistent). you can’t change everything from night to day. be disciplined with it (you learn it by doing this). if you want something that you havent had before, you have to do something that you’ve never done before. only you can do it. make the right choices every single day. design your life. in a piece of paper, something you see everyday.
9:49 3. change is hard!! make your journey fun, make it a little easier for yourself (shortcuts, reminders, certain spots for certain things, things that motivate you). clean and organised space to be clear and more productive! look out for things/gadgets that you can do/get to make your life easier. sorround yourself with the right people (online or in person) who inspire you, make you feel good and powerful, give you energy. sorround yourself with the right content, where you learn and make you feel good; don’t look at anything that distracts you from your goals or that you compare with. build your environment and sorroundings.
15:35 4. for the rest of your life: keep learning. stay curious. keep growing. it keeps you young and motivated. it gives your life and your days a purpose. you’re never too old. go for it! write it down (go back to step one). reading, listening to podcast, online or in person courses, pdf’s. you can actually do whatever you want to acheive.

no matter how motivated and disciplined you are, sometimes you will fail. be okay with it. don’t push beyond where you do something against you. its okay, but then get over it, get back up again, don’t give up. start again. be balanced.

I never write comments to anyone but this particular video of yours hit me at the very right moment. While you were speaking about surrounding yourself with the right people, I thought of a few friend of mine, and I understood that you are an online YouTube friend for me. You are so encouraging and conscious. You are an example of a person I look up to and surround myself with. Thank you so much for being here for us. I am always looking forward to your new videos. In defence of quitting: sometimes things just don't work in practice, even though they seem great on paper. This can happen when you take on a goal that was never for you, but maybe borrowed from your parents or someone influential in your life. However, definitely give something a proper try and persevere, then readjust if you've put in sincere effort and it's still not working for you. For example, I just wasn't enjoying studying in Edinburgh despite having lots of great friends and a good course, but I transferred back to my home town and completed my degree there! It was still a challenge, but I felt so much more comfortable knowing I had my friends and family near me.

However I do agree with everything you're saying! Thank you for a highly motivational video ❤

I feel like you are really good at enjoying your time. I told my daughter that it's important to have a good relationship with her friends but sometimes it's more important to know how to spend time when she is alone.

I hope my daughter would watch this video

You have a LOT of good things to say! I absolutely agree that change and discipline are NECESSARY but hard. We all have to make decisions and make the moves to improve, but what has encouraged me is that I have Jesus on my side. Yes, I have to make the choice to follow Him and chose His path everyday, but if I am talking to Him and walking with Him(which also something I have to choose to do) He gives me strength to do it. He gives strength to the weary, and leads us beside still waters (Isaiah 40 and Psalm 23). Just like the water we choose to drink, I have to choose to talk to Him first thing in the morning or read my Bible or ask Him for help in a difficult situation. If I don’t, He may still prompt me, but I might not hear. If I start out listening, I make it easier to hear Him😄 and He makes it easier to continue listening in the hard times. I’m so thankful for the encouragement you are putting out there. Keep up the good work! God bless you!

I truly struggle as well of going with tiny changes, i always like to change everything (might be my adhd and the mindset of going all in or nothing 😅) but here are my goals:
- Grow my youtube community and continue to help others
- finish my degree
- run one of the big marathons
- find a new job
They might be very ambitious, or big goals but they are what resonate with me <3

Hi Anna, I am usually a silent subscriber but I wanted to let you know how much you inspire me to pursue my goals this year. In 2025, I want to get strong and independant. Your Channel is amazing, it really supports my personal growth and Fitness journey 😊 Besides, I totally appreciate the way you talk about your relationship with food and how it had been in the past. This is so relatable for me as for now, my focus is to be healthy, fit and happy so I can live my best life right now and in the future as well. Before, I heavily focused on exercising to alternate my body. In one of your clips I saw Andrew Huberman’s podcast and the appearance of the Glucose Goddess 😄 I love them both and their work is truly amazing. I almost listened to every interview she had been on. 😅 So even if you don’t always see the impact you have on other people, especially women, I want to thank you for being one of those creators, that actually make a (positive) difference, which includes so much effort from your side. ❤
