I see that mockrock mostly judged these moves in a vacuum (how well the move could function on any character), whereas esam is judging them on how useful (or useless) they are to that specific character.

Ken's fair is actually really good. The hitbox stays out forever, is special cancellable, and the sour spot has fixed launch distance and makes it really easy to get kill confirms with

14:55 charged f smash is not even close to as strong as a charged hammer. Charged hammer can kill at 0-10, it's one of the best shield break punishes in the game. Hammer also can ledge trap and basically be used as an aerial smash attack. A full hop double swing aerial hammer is surprisingly hard to punish, and can be used for a jump read. It's not good, but it's FAR from useless like you mention.

It’s literally a disjointed frame 5 move on both sides that creates tech situations, jab locks, and true combos into grab, jab, and literally any move that comes out in less than 20 frames lol

If you’re wondering what I think the worst nair is, I think it’s definitely olimar. Every other nair is broken, olimar’s is decent but underwhelming compared to the rest of the cast. Kirby’s is also not as strong, but it can kill really well and is a decent OOS kill option.

Bruh Ken’s fair combos into other aerials at low percents and even to jab depending on when and which part you hit(such as for a true 0-death combo). It also can be use to break shield by cancelling it into reverse medium shoryuken after hitting the base hitbox. It is also exactly the same as Ryu’s.
