Melee pk flash reminds me of the bold and bash scene from Spongebob

Ness: I call it PK Flash

Alex.exe: More like, it belongs in the Trash

Fun fact: A lot of people were expecting Metal Slash to be helpful in Spirit battles against guys like Metal Sonic it Dr. Wily, but if you have a spirit battle with a metal opponent and play as hero, the chances of Metal slash appearing is severely reduced. So by the time you get it, you might not be ready to use it because it’s extremely rare.

I feel like he should've mentioned that melee bowser's up special is a great out of shield option

I mean, Bowser's up b even in Melee is a good out of shield option and one of his actually usable moves. Recovery-wise, granted.

The Ness “please kill me” shirt better be a DLC costume for him to wear.

I disagree with wolf up b.Wolf’s up b kills and it can be a good mix up.Also it has barley any ending lag.It also hits below the edge if you time it correctly. That’s all I had say to every thing else I agree with and the video was very well done.

I disagree with Little Mac's Up-Special. Sure it's terrible for recovering, but it has frame 1 invinciblity, is a frame 3 attack, and kills really well. Smash 4 Mac used Up B all the time for killing as you could combo into it from stuff like Jab and D-Tilt. It doesn't deserve to be alongside Mac's Neutral B.

5:56 Bowser’s UpB in melee does suck as a recovery move, but it’s arguably the best out of shield option in the game

Half of these moves: Powerful, but "so slow youd never use them"
Me, breaking shields and then using those moves:

*Jigglypuff players using rollout offstage or near ledge:* "Suicide is badass!"

Ok So as a wolf main, I definitely have to disagree with some of the things you said about wolfs up special. Yes, It has bad range, but that’s the only thing that makes it worse than the average up special. You said it wasn’t used much for recovery, but for professional players it’s actually the go to recovery option with side special being used more as a mix up. Side special arguably isn’t better than up-special. It is fast and has better horizontal range, but it doesn’t snap the ledge, and it has a hurt box that travels one frame ahead of the hit box, so it can be beat out. I’m guessing you’re looking at it from more of a casual player’s perspective, on which case, the pick is completely understandable.

Him: Jigglypuff sing is bad in melee
Me: "looks at tournaments banning ledge cancel sing jiggly" a yes indeed bad enough so it was basically ban

Melee Bowser’s up-b is actually an amazing move, one of his only good moves. It’s one of the best out of shield options in the game, and honestly the only way Bowser can get out of pressure

Gotta admit Alex, you really missed the mark on some of these moves.

Melee:
- Jigglypuff's Sing: The move can be cancelled by grabbing the ledge, and multiple hits refresh the target's sleep timer. This means she can infinitely sleep people on the ledge and time people out easily. Sing Stalling/Infinite was banned in competitive Melee.

- Bowser's Whirling Fortress: Arguably the best out of shield option in the entire game, and easily Bowser's best move. It's not a good recovery move, but it seems like you judged the move entirely on that utility.

Mewtwo's Confusion: Despite not operating as a reflector, it is a good ledge stall option. Getting too close to a Mewtwo using the move at the ledge will trigger a glitch and teleport the opponent below the stage. Not the best move, but every option should be noted when judging a move.

Brawl:
Yoshi's Down B: I may be mistaken but can't it grab the ledge? If so like in future installments, it would've been a solid recovery mixup option. Recovery high, then quickly fall and grab the ledge, providing a hitbox on the way down.

I heartily disagree with using a bad character's bad move in this list. It defeats the purpose and is self explanatory. You could easily say Ganon has the worst specials in the entire series and be correct. It just doesn't make for an interesting video when it feels like you pick on a few bad characters.

Sm4sh:
Little Mac's Up B: Similarly to Melee Bowser, the move is terrible as a recovery tool. However it acts as a kill confirm out of Down Tilt and KOs relatively early.

Custom Moves in general were under-explored due to their lack of balance and it is incredibly difficult to pinpoint the worst specials of the worst designed moves. It feels like a copout with how many specials are in the game, and you decide to go with Customs instead, but the specials you chose are actually horrific so you get a pass there.

Ultimate:
Wolf's Up B: The move is actually a really great attack. It is incredibly difficult to mess with due to the insane knockback on it. How many times have you seen someone get hit by it and get sent flying horizontally straight to the blastzone? It's not uncommon for it to accidently kill opponent's trying to mess with your recovery.

As for Judge and Command Select, moves with RNG elements should be judged on the average result of said move. With Hero, if you see Accelarattle and Metal Slash on the same menu, you're never going for Metal Slash and will always pick the better move - bringing the average usefulness of the move up. For Judge, the move has the capability to steal games early and easily, and when the average number deals decent damage, the move is in whole, pretty good.

Conclusion: Overall a decent list, but there are a couple glaring issues with how moves were judged. Some moves were chosen because it's a bad move on a bad character (an obvious and boring answer). Others felt like they weren't researched well enough, and characters that were featured multiple times could've been replaced easily. Looking forward to next video!

Fun Fact:

The reason why Game and Watch was dealt 14% when rolling the 1 was due to the 1v1 damage multiplier, normally, he indeed deals himself 12%
