Not finished well just started watching and following you, but i do love the fact that you explain thing the way you do, there is points with every video, where you need to be doing a thing, when they do the thing and its hard because nobody explains what they are doing, but i can look away from your video and just listen and still be able to follow along, i really thank you for that!

So I saw the recent vids and breakdown of "Skyblivion" and it roundabout led me here when I reminisced on Oblivion in my mid 20's in College.
Man, THIS makes my entire year. I got an itch to go back to Oblivion after realizing it's the only Bethesda game I haven't finished in Vanilla at least once, OR played through modded. I haven't played Oblivion since it was a fresh title, and it was on a PS console at that...
I am STOKED to get into this.
My PS5 flat out died, and until I track down what I need to fix it (outside Warranty), I only have an outdated PC I built *(i5 2500 Sandy Bridge/GTX750 GPU/8GB RAM) that should still easily run TESO with some mods...
So, I have the next two weeks obligation free, 28mi. from nowhere in the Ozarks, with no human contact outside of a family member on occassion. This is going to be fun now because of your vids! I even bought the (GOG) GOTY Deluxe edition specifically for it.

you accidently gave me the reason WHY my oblivion was crashing after installing the mods.
When I saw your list of mods I went to activate only those thinking that my game wouldn't crash. Instead I noticed that many of the files I had were DUPLICATES and when I checked those off it launched without a problem. Thank you

Figure you may already know, but many of the mods that are from the Russian website have been lost. If you are able, keep backups of these mods and post elsewhere (if its not illegal?) I've been searching everywhere and cant find them anymore

When I try to launch obse_loader it fails to load, I turned on the Steam in game overlay and it still doesnt work :(

When I ran the Oblivion Launcher, I got the same menu you showed onscreen except that all the menu options were greyed out. I don't see any possible way to follow your instructions.

Edit: I got that menu again when I ran the game from Steam, only all the options could be used. I just couldn't do it by directly clicking on the launcher file like you did. The answer is just to run it from the Steam launcher for anybody else who runs into the same problem.

crashed before it even started and I followed the guide. Even the initial play-test in this video didnt work. lol im so bad at modding

it's not as straightforward as it seems. If you have the Steam version, it automatically gets downloaded in Program Files (x86) which can't be detected by Wryre Bash, so you have to copy the game into just the C drive, but that makes things a bit more complicated. It's ridiculous how you can't manually download Steam games.

Why are none of your videos labeled NPC's? Arguably one of the most important things to mod considering the vanilla NPCs look like potatoes.
