Oblivion Mod Install Guide (2020) - MADE SIMPLE!

‣Looking for an Oblivion mod guide? Look no further. How to install oblivion script extender? Today I'll show you how to EASILY get started with modding The Elder Scrolls Oblivion on PC. Straight to the point editing showing you exactly what you need. In this Oblivion mod tutorial video I demonstrate how to download Wrye Bash, OBSE, BOSS and install a plugin called Oblivion Stutter Remover. I also give a brief explanation to what the programs do or help with.

(PLEASE keep in mind that this is the groundwork for part 2 of my Oblivion modding video to come.)

-(If you have a 32 bit OS download WinRAR x86)
-(If you have a 64 bit OS download WinRAR x64)

-Create a free account, you don’t need to choose a membership package.

-Make sure to download in your Oblivion Directory Folder.
-Wrye Bash will create a folder inside your Oblivion Directory called ‘Mopy’.

-OBSE stands for Oblivion Script Extender and helps improve the functionality and processing ability of Oblivion.
-MAKE sure you pay attention to which version of Oblivion you have. Steam and Retail versions are different in how you play and start Oblivion.

-BOSS stands for Better Oblivion Sorting Software.
-BOSS helps with the LOAD order of mods.
-ALWAYS RUN BOSS AFTER INSTALLING MODS OR BEFORE YOU START OBLIVION TO BE SAFE!

Awesome job Cody, this is how you make a tutorial! (others should take a lesson from this) I've been on SSE for a while and used Gopher's stuff to learn to mod (125+ mods and counting) I just got the Oblivion Deluxe Edition (awaiting Skyblivion release) and it looks daunting to mod correctly. Thank you for the really well done and professional tutorial to get me started. (Btw, I'm 62 and this (modding) is going to be my retirement entertainment) Best of luck on the new job and home.

make sure you also copy the "Data" folder for oblivion script extender into your oblivion directory.
