One thing I appreciate more and more about DBZ is that the characterizations are subtle but real. Frieza doesn't even humanize Goku. He's just a monkey to him. Even when it's clear he's an equal fighter. It's the first time Goku ever met someone that level of cosmic evil. It's also a fitting end to the beginning when Radditz was lying he redeemed himself. Frieza never lied. He was just straight evil through and through.

The fights in DBZ Kai sound a lot more cinematic and more satisfying than they do in the original DBZ even though they use almost all the same sound effects. Maybe that's just due to the sound effect being louder and the overall audio having better stereo quality.

God, every hit felt so powerful, really emphasizing the impact they were both recieving, and the coreography was fantastic

Super would instantly be 30% better if they had that level of fight coreography and slund emphasis
